PRESENTATION

Teresa Vittucci a remporté le Swiss Dance Awards dans la catégorie "Current Dance Work" pour sa pièce "Hate me, tender". Elle propose un workshop basé sur le thème de cette pièce : A quoi ressemblerait un solo pour le féminisme du futur ?

Les participant.e.s travailleront à la réalisation d'un mini-solo, en utilisant l'écriture, la lecture et les pratiques somatiques pour trouver des moyens d'incarner ce qui a été lu, des tâches de composition et des outils pour réaliser un solo.

BIO

Teresa Vittucci est née en 1985 à Vienne, où elle a obtenu un diplôme de conservatoire. Elle a également fréquenté l'école Ailey de New York et L'école SEAD à Salzbourg, avant d'obtenir une maîtrise en Expended Theater à la Haute école des arts de Berne. La chorégraphe et danseuse vit et travaille à Zurich. Elle crée des pièces solo telles que "Unleash" (2012), "Lunchtime" (2015) et "All Eyes On" (2017) qui a été présentée lors des Swiss Dance Days 2019 à Lausanne. Elle a créé "We Bodies" (2019) avec Claire Vivianne Sobottke et Michael Turinsky ; elle y explore le corps et les caractéristiques qui lui sont attribuées : homme, femme, gros, handicapé, beau, etc. Elle a également travaillé avec Nils Amadeus Lange dans "U Betta Cry" (2013), avec Marie-Caroline Hominal dans "Taxi-Dancers" (2016) et, régulièrement, avec Simone Aughterlony. En 2014-15, elle a été engagée en tant qu'actrice au Staatstheater Mainz et a reçu un prix d'interprète exceptionnel de la ville de Zurich en 2018. En 2019-20, Teresa Vittucci devient une jeune artiste associée (YAA !) au Tanzhaus Zürich.

PRESENTATION

Teresa Vittucci won a Swiss Dance Awards in “Current Dance Work” for her piece “Hate me, tender”.

She will offer workshops based on the topic of this piece: How could a solo for future feminism look like?

Participants will be working on making a mini solo, using writing, reading, somatic practices to find ways to embody what has been read, compositional tasks and tools to make a solo.

BIO

Teresa Vittucci was born in 1985 in Vienna, where she graduated from the conservatory, and also attended The Ailey School in New York City and the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD), before completing a Master’s in Expanded Theater at the Bern University of the Arts. The choreographer and dancer lives and works in Zurich and produces solo pieces such as “Unleash” (2012), “Lunchtime” (2015) and “All Eyes On” (2017), which was shown at the Swiss Dance Days 2019 in Lausanne. She created “We Bodies” (2019) with Claire Vivianne Sobottke and Michael Turinsky; in it she explores the body and the characteristics assigned to it: man, woman, fat, disabled, beautiful and so on. She has also worked with Nils Amadeus Lange in “U Betta Cry” (2013), with Marie-Caroline Hominal in “Taxi-Dancers” (2016) and, regularly, with Simone Aughterlony. In 2014–15 she was engaged as an actor at the Staatstheater Mainz and received an outstanding performer award from the City of Zurich in 2018. In 2019–20 Teresa Vittucci is a Young Associate Artis (YAA!) at the Tanzhaus Zürich.
